however this month, I have made it through a huge storm that shut down electricity for several counties in my state. It was trying and still everyone has not yet been restored. Pray for us in #Indiana. South of here experienced floods!

It looked like Wrath had come to town.
The tornado that sheared through half of North Merrillville three days ago leaves the area desolate like Wrath run amok in the streets.
It tore through Andrean Catholic High School, taking the tops of trees as its meal.
Broadway is blocked off at Strack’s shopping plaza and west on 61st Avenue.
The streets look war torn— like a dinosaur got after it with its teeth bared and gnashing, chomping through thick branches, leaving them in a way that looked like the bristles of a worn out toothbrush, splayed out in every which way.
It shocks the senses.
It crossed the street westward heading down 61st Avenue. There are deep trenches in the ground, utility poles snapped into pieces on the ground and useless. Traffic is diverted north down Harrison Street, where there is more devastation. Entire roofs are gone and huge oaks are on top of the bare wood roof frames that are now exposed to the open air. The stones on the homes are left standing from what anyone can see just slowly driving by. Traffic inched along Harrison Street for a few reasons: gawking, figuring out what street was open so you could get to where you were going and the sheer volume of diverted traffic from busy 61st and Broadway.
